Heliotrope Ridge

Heliotrope Ridge — Washington Trails Association (wta.org)

This hike starts on the Northwest side of Mt. Baker and gets you even closer than you can from Artist Point, and places you right on top of Coleman glacier. Seeing the glacier up close is the highlight of this hike, where you have to wade through streams if you don’t want to boulder hop.
