Great hike for any season, but
especially pretty in fall with larches on mountain slopes as far as the eye can
see. Getting to Lewis Lake can be sketchy, with boulder hoping and route
finding, but it’s a pretty lake with great views of Black Peak, and a lovely
stream through the meadows.
